1. Terms & Conditions Orders & Payment - Please place orders at least 72 hours in advance, unless a shorter turnaround is offered or approved. - Orders are confirmed only after the required payment is received. - Confirmed custom orders are generally non-refundable because they are made specifically for you. - Orders over $500 CAD may qualify for 70% payment at confirmation and 30% no later than 72 hours before pickup/delivery. - Prices exclude applicable taxes and delivery unless otherwise stated. - Bake4Me may refuse or cancel an order due to product availability, pricing/payment errors, suspected fraud or other reasonable circumstances. Payments will be refunded where Bake4Me cancels an order through no fault of the customer. Custom Cakes & Designs - All cakes are handmade, so minor variations in colour, size, shape and decoration may occur. - Photos on our website and social media are examples; exact replication cannot always be guaranteed. - Designs inspired by another creator may be adapted rather than copied exactly. Customers are responsible for obtaining any required permissions for copyrighted designs, logos, characters or images they request. - Third-party trademarks and characters remain the property of their respective owners. Changes, Cancellations & Rescheduling - Order changes must be requested as early as possible and confirmed by Bake4Me. - Changes within 48 hours of pickup/delivery may not be possible and may incur additional charges. - One reschedule may be permitted without a rescheduling fee, subject to availability and reasonable notice. - If an ingredient or decoration becomes unavailable, we may offer a suitable alternative of comparable quality or value. Pickup & Delivery - Orders must be collected at the agreed date and time. Uncollected orders may be held for up to 24 hours, where safe to do so. - Please inspect your order when you receive it. - Once an order has been picked up, Bake4Me is not responsible for damage caused by transportation, handling, improper storage or heat. - Third-party courier delays or damage outside Bake4Me's control will be handled on a case-by-case basis. - Follow the storage instructions provided with your order. Food Safety - Cakes may contain non-edible items such as dowels, wires, toppers, florals or figurines. These must be removed before serving. - Please inform us when ordering if a cake will be used as a smash cake. - Customers must disclose relevant allergies or dietary requirements when ordering. Unless specifically confirmed otherwise, our products are prepared in an environment where common allergens may be present. Photography Bake4Me may photograph products we create and use the images on our website, social media, advertising or portfolio. We will not intentionally publish private customer information, identifiable customer photos or private event details without appropriate permission. Liability & Governing Law Bake4Me is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada.
